What’s happening at Camp Lake Fire (19.07.2010)
The weather in the Scenic Rim district this past week was a mixture of all four seasons, summer, autumn, winter and spring and seeing Camp Lake Fire guests all rugged up in the mornings and evenings and then during the days discarding all their heavy warm gear.
A group of uni students enjoyed themselves out on Maroon Dam having fun canoeing around and having a go at fishing and trying to avoid getting themselves wet.
Another group of campers spent quality time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views of the water from their campsite capturing some morning and evening snapshots overlooking the water.
One lone camper spent his time canoeing, having a fish, catching up on some writing and enjoying the peace and quiet.
Even though the temperatures are quite cool you couldn’t ask for better weather to spend some time in the outdoors camping at Camp Lake Fire.
